The retired Pavo schoolhouse served as a high school and then as elementary school until 1993 – at which time it was shut down and in time released over to the City to be utilized as a community center. The Pavo Civic Club accepted on the obligation of overseeing the center. The cafeteria and auditorium can be leased for family reunions and different events.
