Rose City Golf Classic
April 28 & 29, 8:30am–4pm, Country Oaks Golf Course, 6481 Georgia Highway 122 North

Two person team tournament with morning and afternoon tee times on both days. Teams can choose their Saturday tee times, and Sunday tee times will be determined by their flight. 13th Annual Orchids on Parade
9am – 4pm, Inside the Municipal Building, 144 East Jackson Street

Showcasing orchids grown by members of the Thomasville Orchid Society in a natural habitat. Members will be on hand to answer questions. Free admission.


40th Annual 1 Mile Run (ages 12 & under)
9:30am, In Front of the Post Office on North Broad Street

78th Annual Civic Garden Club Flower Show: “Pleasures of the Garden: Sight, Healing, Touch, Taste, Smell”
10am – 5pm, Under the Big Top Tent in Paradise Park, 403 South Broad Street

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10am with Thomasville Rose Queen and Court and local dignitaries. Enjoy beautiful roses, wild flowers, horticulture settings, potted plants, hanging baskets, table settings, and more! Free admission. Donations appreciated.


98th Annual Rose Show
10am – 4pm, Under the Big Top on Broad Street at Remington Avenue

Hundreds of hybrid rose varieties and breathtaking specimens will be on exhibit from growers throughout the southeast. Free admission.


Standard Flower Show: “Our Georgia”
10am – 4pm, Thomasville Garden Center, 1102 South Broad Street

Hundreds of native plants on display in a picturesque setting. $3 suggested donation.

Drop-in children’s butterfly workshop from 10am – noon for children ages 5 – 10 years old. Open to the public. For more information, call (229) 226-5291.


Show & Shine” Car & Truck Show
10am – 3pm, Registration Begins at 9am, Around the Courthouse on Broad Street

Sponsored by the Thomasville Police Department, this annual car and truck show features three categories – Modified, Original, and Best Overall. Entry fee is $25. For more information, contact Chief Eric Hampton at (229) 227-3249. Click here to register. Free admission.


New – Rose Festival Art Walk
10am-5 pm on South Broad Street between Smith and Remington Avenues in Downtown Thomasville

Enjoy artists working in different mediums at the Art Walk! Artists will be creating pieces out in the open, as well as selling and displaying their work. Free admission.


Art in the Park
10am – 5pm, Paradise Park, 403 South Broad Street

Featuring all your traditional favorites and lots of new activities. Artisans will be selling their wares, and you can grab a bite to eat from food vendors selling everything from meats to sweets. Children’s activities include face painting and multiple craft booths. You don’t want to miss this day packed full of fun. Free admission and most activities are free.

Live music featuring The Sauce Boss at 12:30pm. This live interactive gumbo making demonstration is fun for the whole family. Acoustic artists Tatum Brown and Bekah Stewart will also perform.

Free crafts for kids with You’re Maker and Fuzzy Goat. Enjoy free crafting activities that you’ll love taking home with you!

Free activities for kids. Don’t miss your chance for a photo op with the unicorns and superhero llams from Fifth Day Farms. Get festive with colorful face painting and cheek art by Britt Dodd.


Bark in the Park
10am – 1pm, Paradise Park, 403 South Broad Street

Fun for you and your furry friends! Enjoy pet contests like “best trick” and “owner look-alike” or take the opportunity to adopt a new friend from the Humane Society! New – Tea with the Queen
10:30am-noon, Studio 209, 209 West Remington Avenue

Come enjoy a cup of tea, treats, activities, and have your picture taken with Thomasville’s Rose Queen & Court. Presented by the Junior Service League of Thomasville. $5 per child.


New – Rose Fest Sip & Stroll
6-10pm, Downtown Thomasville

Grab a beer or wine from participating downtown merchants and stroll the bricks for an evening of sipping, shopping, and fun before the Rose Fest Finale. Musical acts will be set throughout Downtown to entertain you while you shop and dine.

8-10pm, The Ritz Amphitheater, 131 South Stevens Street

Join us for our brand new Saturday night event. Enjoy a free live concert featuring Trae Pierce & the T Stones, live mural paintings, and food trucks. Pick up your favorite beer or wine from a local merchant in a special event cup and end the Rose Show & Festival with dancing and fun for the whole family. Free admission.
